Slayin' is a neat little desktop diversion where it's an endlessly-running you against a horde of charmingly-drawn pixel monsters. It's time to ramble on about Lunar 2, specifically the city of Pentagulia and etymologies. ( Spoiler cut )

Shibuya from The World Ends with You isn't technically a dungeon, but it is a maze-like combat area that's in part blockaded and unblockaded as the plot progresses. I like the cutting-edge urban aesthetic of Shibuya, so refreshing for the genre, and negotiating narrow, hostile alleys to stop off for brief respites in shops makes the whole thing ( Read more... )
